TING Restaurant Celebrates Chinese New Year with Celebrity Chef Ching He Huang

With an extended opening until February 3rd, you can find Celebrity Chef and Author Ching He Huang's exclusive Chinese New Year Menu at TING restaurant at The Shangri-La at the Shard. Together with TING's Executive Chef Gareth Bowen, the gastronomic pair have personally curated a menu which will be served alongside TING's à la carte menu.

The Chinese New Year menu features a wealth of dishes symbolising the many eccentricities of the Chinese year of the Red Rooster. The small tasting dishes are individually priced between £13 and £18 and have been styled to be savoured and eaten as artistic Bamboo Baskets and Bowls.

Dishes are served throughout the day in the sleek, stylish, Asian-inspired TING restaurant on the 35th floor of the Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard, London. Expect stunning panoramic views of the capital and an exclusive menu that celebrates the importance of food at Chinese New Year, representing luck and fortune in our life. With chicken for fortune, fish for prosperity, noodles for longevity, duck for fidelity, vegetables for cleanliness, wontons and seaweed for wealth, Ching’s Chinese New Year menu has all the essential ingredients for a successful year ahead. And if your birth year matches the year of the Red Rooster, then you're in for even more prosperous year with this menu!

Choose from delicious Pepper Crispy Wild Duck with Mandarin, Kumquat Dip, Smoked Cod, Scallop, Crab Pearl Balls, and Moneybag Dumplings of Pork & Prawn with Scallop. The finesse of this special menu is founded upon traditional, lesser-known Chinese New Year dishes with Ching’s signature healthy and modern twists.

In addition, guests and diners are spoilt with more from Broccoli Stem Dan Dan ‘Zha’ Mein with Braised Mushroom & Bamboo Shoots, Crispy Vegetable Smoked Tofu Spring Rolls and Honey Roast Pork Char Sui with Plum and Picked Shallot & Dandelion ‘Spring’ Flowers.
